The buildingMoscow Theatre of Clow Art is the biggest and most successful children’s theatre in Moscow. The theatre’s art director, Teresa Dourova, descends from the famous Dourov circus dynasty. The foreign producers working with the theatre define the genre of its performances as ‘family show’. Over twenty shows are performed each season, about half of which have enjoyed a lasting success with the audience.
 
Brilliant production, interaction with the audience and the international language of humour make the theatre’s shows popular throughout and outside Russia. The theatre has toured in Germany, France, Argentina, Ukraine, the Emirates etc. All shows are performed in the language of the hosting country.
 
Moscow Theatre of Clownery is a co-organizer, together with the Moscow government, of the international festival project "World’s Theatres for Children", which includes the Russian-French "Havroche" theatrical festival in 2007, and the Russian-Italian "Pinoccio" festival in 2008. 
 
The theatre’s multy-storeyed building has a perfectly equipped stage, an audience of one thousand seats and a spacey foyer.  The efficient management ensures that all the administration issues are addressed promptly and effectively, and all obligations are met fully and in due time.

International festival project
"World’s Theatres for Children":
 
 
International Theatre Festival of performances for children "Gavrosh". Each year the festival "Gavrosh" invites the best theatre troupes from foreign countries to Moscow. The mission of the festival is to most fully and comprehensively introduce the smallest of Russian spectators to children's theater plays of different cultures. The target audience of the festival is children from 2 to 12 and their parents. In addition, the festival "Gavrosh" carries out the great humanitarian and educational program like master classes for children and parents, children's art exhibitions, school theaters, etc. Moreover, this is a unique project for Russia to work with hearing impairment children on stage.  >>>
